On-Screen Diva, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde reacts amid several online drags due to her comment on the Lekki Toll Gate shooting which occurred at the peak of the #EndSARS protest.
Recently Omotola came under fire after the Lagos Judicial Panel released a comprehensive list of victims of the Lekki Toll Gate shooting which had the names of those who were killed, missing and injured.
The actress who had questioned the possibility of protesters being killed by soldiers subsequently became a trending and controversial topic online.
Amid these backlashes, a Twitter user identified as @IBROULAXZ came up to defend the actress while stating that she never meant that nobody was killed, rather she requested that relatives of the affected speak up
The tweet reads:
“Hello bro, I went through the screenshot and I didn’t see where she said there was no one killed … try and read through each lines … I think what she was saying is for the relatives to speak up so as to know the truth since they’re trying to change the story … just my observation.”
This triggered a response from the veteran movie star who wrote:
