Activist publisher and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has weighed in on the battle between businessman Ned Nwoko and Jaruma.
Sowore blasts Ned Nwoko for ‘using police to oppress Nigerians,’ demands immediate release of kayanmata seller, Jaruma
Recall that an Abuja court, on Tuesday, remanded Jaruma to prison custody in the alleged defamation case filed by Nwoko, who is husband to actress Regina Daniels.
But Sowore says confining the aphrodisiac merchant to jail before her bail hearing on Friday is uncalled for
“Free Jaruma: It is disheartening that Nigeria Police Force continues to deploy itself to despicable VIP mercenary activities,” Sowore said this morning.
“This so-called billionaire, Ned Nwoko, has done so much damage to lots of innocent citizens in his community with the aid of the Nigerian police.
“Jaruma is his latest victim. This culture cannot stand!”
