Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, widely recognized as Tems and a Grammy award winner, has conveyed her deep admiration for Canadian artist Justin Bieber.

In a recent appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Tems referred to Bieber as “one of the purest souls I have ever met.”

She characterized the ‘Peaches’ artist as exceptionally kind and supportive.

Tems recounted how she managed to have both Wizkid and Justin Bieber join her performance at Coachella earlier this year.

“I was scheduled to perform at Coachella, and since Wizkid was in town, we asked if he would be willing to join, and he readily agreed.

“And then on the day of the performance, I got a text from Justin Bieber, he was like, ‘I’m around in case you want to bring me out.’

“Justin Bieber is one of the purest souls I have ever met, he’s so kind and such a supporter. And he came out, the ground ground was shaking. Everybody was loosing their minds. I was a bit startled. Justin, I love you!”

Wizkid, Tems, and Justin Bieber collaborated on the remix of the internationally acclaimed track ‘Essence.’
