Controversial musician Speed Darlington has finally broken his silence following his arrest and detention for allegedly defaming Burna Boy. In a recent Instagram live session, he addressed the situation, taking jabs at the Grammy-winning artist.
During the live chat, Speed Darlington claimed that Burna Boy’s attempt to have him arrested only boosted his confidence. He sees this effort as a sign of his own success, implying that Burna Boy’s actions reflect his growing influence.
Affectionately known as Akpi, Speed Darlington even suggested that he considers himself more successful than Burna Boy. He accused Burna Boy of paying large sums to bloggers to promote his work, whereas he manages to stay relevant and trend on social media without such efforts. According to him, this demonstrates his own organic success in the industry.
