Controversial Nigerian singer and Marlian Music boss, Naira Marley, has issued a bold statement to his critics amidst ongoing calls to boycott his music following the death of Mohbad.
The controversy stems from allegations made in 2023 by netizens accusing Naira Marley of being involved in the tragic passing of Mohbad, a claim that remains unproven. In response, some fans and music lovers have since distanced themselves from his music.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, Naira Marley addressed the situation head-on, asserting that no one has the authority to cancel him or his career except God.
He wrote:
“The only person that can cancel me is God.”
The statement has sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans standing by him while others remain critical. Despite the backlash, Naira Marley remains defiant and committed to his music career.
