Osas Ighodaro Speaks Over Controversies Trailing Her AMVCA Win

Osas Ighodaro, a Nollywood actress, seems unconcerned about the backlash and harsh comments she has received following her AMVCA win.

According to Gistlover, the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) took place last night, May 20th, at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The movie diva has for the second time in a role won the Best Actress in Drama/TV Series for her part in ‘Man of God’.

The actress’s remarkable performance in “Man of God” captivated viewers and garnered her well-deserved accolades.

Osas Ighodaro defeated Bimbo Ademoye, Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe, and others to win the prestigious award.

Unfortunately for her, netizens did not think she deserved the prize, especially because she was nominated with Nse and Ini Edo.

Many people criticized the award organizers for being biased in the comments section.

They noticed that Osas Ighodaro’s Man of God co-star, Dorcas Fapson, performed better than her.

Osas Ighodaro spoke up and shared a photo of herself during the award ceremony.

The mother of one stated that she is grateful, humbled, and blessed.

“Grateful, Humbled, Blessed”.
