Victor Osimhen has broken his silence as his loan transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray nears completion.
The Nigerian striker shared a mysterious statement on Instagram with music from the Nigerian film Awodi, implying a struggle but also expressing faith in divine direction.
Osimhen’s statement follows claims that Napoli would only allow the deal to occur if he extends his contract until June 2027.
Napoli’s desire for the extension is purportedly intended to avoid a scenario in which Osimhen returns in 2025 with just a year remaining on his contract.
This would reduce their negotiating power in any subsequent transfer discussions.
According to Football Italia, the transfer to Galatasaray is virtually complete, with the Turkish club preparing for a private jet to transport Osimhen to Istanbul.
Reports suggest fans are already preparing to welcome the striker at Ataturk Airport with a grand reception.
