Preparation for the burial of famous gospel musician, Osinachi Nwachukwu, is underway as the family finalizes the date and place.

In an interview with BBC News Igbo, the family said Osinachi will be buried on June 25, 2022.

According to them, The ‘Ekwueme’ singer will be laid to rest in her father’s compound at Isuochi, Abia State and not her husband’s house.

The family also noted that they may return Osinachi’s bride price to her husband, Peter Nwachukwu’s family.*

Osinachi died on April 8 after allegedly suffering domestic violence from her husband.

The Attorney-General of the Federation slammed 23-count charges against Peter over the death of Osinachi.
