Osinbajo In Deep Trouble, Set To Be Thrown Out Of Aso Rock, As Igbos Give Buhari One Tough Condition
The Igbo National Council, INC, has stated that the only way President Muhammadu Buhari can garner the support of the South-East, is to field an Igbo man as his Vice Presidential candidate in the 2019 Presidential election.
The INC demanded the position of the Vice President from Buhari, in order for him to win in 2019.
This implies that Buhari is expected to drop Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, and pick someone from the South-East as his running mate.
In a statement signed in Owerri by the President of the group, Chilos Godsent, this was the only way the President could comfortably secure the votes of the South-East region.
The statement read in part: “The Igbo National Council, INC, has long x-rayed the performances of PMB, and also the fulfillment of their campaign promises to South-East region.
“The INC is of the view that the PMB-led Federal Government has abysmally failed the South-East, due to the marginalization of the zone by the government.
“Consequently, INC’s condition for the South-East to support PMB for the second term, is that APC should zone its Vice President ticket to South-East.”
