Ossai Ovie Success, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor of Delta State, has voiced his discontent regarding the attire chosen by controversial singer Korra Obidi and dancer Janemena during a recent nightclub visit.
In a post on Facebook, Ossai criticized the duo, labeling their conduct and clothing as “unacceptable.”
He specifically pointed out their positions as a single mother and a married woman, respectively, implying that they should aspire to be more exemplary figures.
“Their attire and actions in the video are unacceptable. As a married woman and a single mother, they ought to set a better standard,” Ossai stated.
He further remarked, “Being a content creator does not necessitate the compromise of one’s principles or the endorsement of negativity. Content creation should aim to foster a positive influence on society, rather than perpetuating detrimental behavior.”
Ossai expressed apprehension regarding the potential impact of such actions on their followers, especially younger individuals, and urged that influencers be held to elevated standards.
“We must demand that our influencers adhere to higher standards and advocate for positivity within our community,” he emphasized.
The post has elicited varied responses online, with some individuals supporting Ossai’s viewpoint while others defend the personal choices of Korra and Janemena.
It is important to note that Korra is a mother of two and has recently divorced her husband following a protracted public dispute that unfolded on social media.
