Osun 2022: Gov. Oyetola breaks silence after defeat; reveals his next move

 Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has broken his silence following his defeat in the just concluded gubernatorial elections in his state.

Urging his supporters to remain calm as he continues to study the outcome of the elections which saw him lose to Senator Ademola Adeleke, the governor noted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken cognisance of the results as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, on Sunday, Oyetola added that the party would be responding appropriately after studying the results and consulting with critical stakeholders of the party.

He went ahead calling on his supporters to go about their businesses without let or hindrance while also charging security operatives to ensure the maintenance of law and order.
