Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are currently on the ground in Osun State to curb vote buying during the governorship election in the state today (Saturday).
The operatives of the anti-graft agency arrived at the Freedom Park, Old Garage, Osogbo, the state capital around 8 am.
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress and the incumbent Governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola is hoping to win the governorship election.
Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party who believed that his mandate was stolen by the APC in 2018 is all out to emerge the winner of the electoral process.
Other parties, like the Labour Party, and the Social Democratic Party are all out to emerge winner in the governorship election in Osun State.
The EFCC operatives would be hoping to reduce the level of vote buying unlike the governorship election in Ekiti State a few weeks ago where there were reports of vote buying.
