As she celebrated her birthday, a priestess from Osun state, Nigeria, gave cake to the water children and the spiritual goddess of the sea, causing a stir on social media.
The priestess, who had reached a new age, explained how she was told to celebrate her birthday by offering prayers for wealth and a sweet life.
In the widely shared video, she created a large, multi-layered cake with her picture on it, which she gave to a sea goddess emissary who carried it to the goddess herself.
The video, which she posted, captured the moment the goddess’ envoy placed the cake atop his head and into the spacious pool, allowing the cake to fall out of his head.
