Comedienne Lepacious Bose has revealed how fascinated she is with how fast Nigerians move on from bad news.
This is coming on the heels of the attack on worshippers of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday, June 5 by gunmen, leading to the loss of over 50 lives
Lepacious Bose said Nigerians screamed and cried the night the day the unfortunate incident took place but today people are already posting funny skits, twerks, jokes, gossips and the likes.
The comic actor who made the post on her Instagram page, got mixed reactions from the comment section. She said:
“AM FACINATED BY HOW FAST WE MOVE ON IN THIS COUNTRY! WE SCREAMED AND CRIED LAST NIGHT OVER THE OWO KILLINGS!
TODAY AM SEEING FUNNY SKITS, TWERKING, JOKES, GOSSIP, etc Hmmm…”
She added:
”It’s like nothing happened!
Like yesterday was a horror movie we all watched on TV and now it’s over.
A man can go to a club alone without his wife and children, a wife can go for owambe leaving the children behind; you see church and mosque is mostly attended “together” so technically some families have been wiped out yesterday! And you think your dancing video is more important? What you wore to a party last night is the issue?
Who chop breakfast matters right now? No wonder they never take us seriously!!!
Am I against posting stuff because of the incident? Of course not!!!
I posted my workout video this morning naa; na the back to back happy videos that irks me!
As in honor of the lost souls where is our solemnity? If we dedicate today to posts concerning our security in this country, it is not too much ooo! No one is safe in this war zone ooo! Something to show we remember!
Like I said yesterday, if you live in Naija, eat well, don’t bother with long term investments, because this all thing is getting crazier by the day!
And all people own you is a 5 mins picture on their page, after that it’s business as usual!
All eyes open!.”
