”I’m Coming” – Oxlade Writes Weeks After His Leaked Bedroom Video

Singer Oxlade, whose real name is Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, touched the hearts of his fans by inviting his father on stage during his album listening party on the night of September 18, 2024.

He showed respect by prostrating for his dad before they shared a hug. His father shared his joy about being at the event and praised the wonderful crowd.

He reminisced about Eyo masquerades and his son’s experiences with them from 15 years ago, while Oxlade nodded in agreement. The album, titled “Oxlade from Africa,” marks the singer’s first album.

Oxlade revealed that he dropped out of Lagos State University (LASU) during his last year because his good looks made him a target for gangs.

He felt pressured to either join them or face consequences. He noted that the atmosphere at the school has improved, with students now concentrating more on their education and realizing the value of chasing their dreams.

After leaving school, he avoided going home and made excuses to his family. When they eventually learned the truth, they were understanding.
