Popular Nigerian content creator and skit maker, Raheem Abike Halimah, widely known as Papaya Ex, is taking a bold step into the world of Nollywood.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Papaya posted behind-the-scenes footage from a film project titled Owambe Thieves, directed by actress Eniola Ajao. She revealed that Eniola personally invited her to join the cast, and she gladly accepted the opportunity.
The movie is set to premiere in cinemas on April 18th, and Papaya expressed her enthusiasm about this new chapter in her career. Declaring that she has now entered her “actress era,” the influencer seems ready to explore more opportunities in the Nigerian film industry.
