Pastor Adeboye Slams Those Working Against Dangote Refinery

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has strongly criticized a hidden plan that could harm Nigeria’s path to economic independence.

In a powerful speech during the November 2024 Abuja Special Holy Ghost service, he revealed a troubling alliance between a group of oil interests in Nigeria and major international oil companies. This partnership is reportedly working to weaken local refineries like Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

Adeboye claims that these groups, motivated by greed, are sabotaging efforts to produce fuel locally and are keeping Nigeria dependent on costly fuel imports.

In his passionate speech, Adeboye reminded everyone that Aliko Dangote started the huge project of building the refinery through divine inspiration, after many failed attempts to fix the country’s public refineries, which had cost billions of Naira with little success.

He pointed out that Dangote’s refinery is not just a business venture, but a chance for Nigeria to become independent from fuel imports and create a self-sufficient future.

However, despite this hopeful sign, Adeboye warned about the extreme measures some powerful people might take to hinder the refinery’s success.

With great passion, the pastor asked every Nigerian to join in prayer for God’s support in this crucial fight.

“Are we under a curse?” he asked.

“We have four refineries, we poured all kinds of money into them, none of them is working.

“But God raised someone to build a refinery that works. He is not my relative; he is not from my village. He is not even a Christian, but he is a Nigerian who says, ‘Why should my people suffer when I have the means to build a refinery that can work?’

“Now he is refining petrol, and some people want to stop him from selling it, so they can keep importing.”, The cleric continued

Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s strong comments about the sabotage of Dangote’s refinery caught attention and sparked a strong reaction from many people.
