“Pastor B needs to give his life to Christ”-Outrage as Pastor Bolaji invites Spyro to perform at church’s Christmas Carol

Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the lead preacher at Harvesters International Christian Centre, has come under fire for inviting the famous Afrobeat singer Spyro to perform at the church’s Christmas Carol.

On the 17th of December 2023, a Christmas Carol was held at the Church’s branch in Lekki, Lagos, which sparked a wave of reactions.

Aside from Spyro, other celebrities for this year’s Carol include Daniel Effiong, Bisola Ayeola, Dorathy Bachor, Sharon Ooja, Uzor Arukwe, Adeh Gbolahan, and Kenneth Ophopho, as seen on the flier.

The preacher announced it on his Instagram page, writing, “Can’t wait for this!” It’s today, and it begins in less than an hour.”

Netizens have since mocked Pastor Bolaji Idowu for attempting to mix worldly practices with Christianity.

It would be recalled that a Celestial Church also invited the controversial street rapper, Portable and Fuji singer, Pasuma to their praise night some weeks ago.
