Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), is reportedly under interrogation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja, following allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.
According to an exclusive report by SaharaReporters, police sources confirmed that Pastor Idowu’s arrest signifies the beginning of an extensive investigation into his financial transactions.
A top police official stated: “The Next Level Prayer Conference, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, has been arrested by the police, and he is being grilled in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering.”
Another source corroborated: “He is at the FCID Abuja as we speak.”
Pastor Bolaji Idowu founded Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC) in December 2003. Starting as a small gathering, the ministry has grown into a global movement with locations in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The official Harvesters website notes that the church attracts over 70,000 worshippers weekly, both onsite and through its online platforms. Pastor Idowu is known for his inspirational sermons and vibrant leadership.
