“Although we may have never met, I want you to know that the success I enjoy today is, in large part, thanks to the teachings I heard from you as a young man in my 20s. Your words have had a lasting impact on my life, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

In other news, A 36-year-old lady identified only as Abiola died tragically and unexpectedly while having a controversial buttocks enhancement treatment at a clinic in Lagos State’s upmarket Lekki-Phase 1 district.

The ill-fated occurrence, which has sent shockwaves across the town, apparently occurred at 3 p.m. on a seemingly normal Monday afternoon.

According to sources, Abiola left the comforts of her house in Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, Ibeju Lekki, with the distinct intention of improving her look, and directed her driver to take her to the clinic, where her destiny would eventually be sealed.

When the owner arrived at the clinic, he lost no time in ordering a nurse to give an injection designed to initiate the operation. However, what was meant to be a basic cosmetic augmentation quickly turned into a nightmare. Abiola’s health deteriorated rapidly after the injection.

She apparently lost consciousness almost immediately, and her breathing became laborious and irregular, causing the clinic personnel to fear.

To treat the issue and avoid additional difficulties, the deceased was sent to a hospital in Lekki Phase 1, where she was pronounced dead.

The unfortunate tragedy has caused anger and cries for justice, and the Lagos State Police Command has responded promptly. Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesman, revealed to PUNCH on Wednesday that a suspect in this terrible occurrence was captured on Tuesday.

Hundeyin said, “The private driver of the deceased reported the incident to the Maroko division. Our officers visited the scene and the body was sent to a public morgue for an autopsy. The nurse who injected the deceased has been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.”
