“Pastors dey overdo” – Daddy Freeze responds as Portable slaps pastor for ‘preaching at his bar’

    Media figure DaddyFreeze has responded after the singer Portable slapped a man he said was preaching near his bar.

    According to GistLover, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ artist went live on Instagram while confronting the man outside his venue in Sango Ota, Ogun state.

    In the video, the upset singer is seen questioning a middle-aged man who seems to hold a Bible. He asked, “Why disturb my clients on Monday morning?” before slapping him.

    “This is how they spoil my business and disturb my business. Are you crazy? Early on a Monday, you’re spoiling my business. I had prayed for myself before leaving home,” he added before asking the man to leave the vicinity.

    Portable’s actions drew negative attention on social media, with many users calling him out for assault.

    Daddy Freeze reacted on his verified Instagram on Wednesday, denouncing the singer’s conduct but also mentioning that the pastor overstepped his limits.

    He said: “I no support Portale whozing pastor O, i have zero tolerance for violence. But these pastors dey overdo. Why you go dey make noise for person bar? If you wan preach for Bar buy drinks for boys first.”

    In other news, American rapper Curtis James Jackson III, known as 50 Cent, has recently shared his favorite song at this time.

    In a viral interview clip released on Tuesday, the hip-hop icon revealed that his current favorite track is “Me & U,” performed by the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Temilade Openiyi, widely recognized as Tems.

    “My current song on repeat is ‘Me & U’ by Tems,” he said.

    This track serves as the lead single from Tems’ highly praised debut studio album, “Born In The Wild.”

    The song has generated controversy after winning the Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2024 BET Awards, with critics arguing that a secular artist’s song should not have triumphed over those of gospel legends such as Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar, CeCe Winans, and Maverick City Music.
