Nigerian TikToker Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, known as Peller, is facing criticism again for how he spoke to Tems shortly after the incident with Mama Burna.
Recently, at a fashion show, 57-year-old Mama Burna, whose real name is Bose Ogulu, ignored Peller’s attempt to greet her. In the video, Peller reaches out for a handshake, but Ogulu walks by him to greet another person, leaving him surprised.
Peller was not bothered when Burna Boy’s mother overlooked him, and Mama Burna has not commented on the matter. There has been criticism towards Peller for attempting to interact with Mama Burna, who is old enough to be his grandmother, rather than showing her the respect she deserves.
Recently, Grammy winner Tems, whose full name is Temilade Openiyi, attended a football match in the USA featuring her MLS team, San Diego FC, against St. Louis.
Following the game, Tems, who has won a Grammy Award, uploaded photos from the match to her verified Instagram account, boasting 6.5 million followers.
Tems accompanied the photos woth the caption; “Something new to scream about🥂✨⚽️.”
