Social media influencer Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, known as Peller, returned to his hometown of Ikorodu, Lagos, where he grew up before gaining fame.
In a video, he visited a store owned by an old friend who sells clothes and accessories. He joked about the phone chargers before looking at some outfits. When he asked his friend the price of the clothes, his friend said it was N550k, but Peller insisted on paying N500k.
Peller looked at the clothes in the shop and thought about the ones sold in upscale Lekki, Lagos. His friend mentioned that residents of Lekki often come to Ikorodu to purchase his fashion items. After discussing it for a while, the TikTok star sent money to his friend before leaving the shop.
As Peller exited, he noticed a crowd waiting for him outside. He was curious about how they found out he was there. The soldiers he had for security helped him get through the crowd and escorted him to his car.
The TikTok star moved to a different spot in Ikorodu and enjoyed time with his childhood friends. This was the street where he grew up, and he recognized many faces there.
The crowd welcomed him with cheers as they joked and reminisced. Peller was visibly happy as he interacted with his friends. They even launched some firecrackers into the sky. After spending the night in Ikorodu, the influencer took his leave, with soldiers making sure his exit was easy.
