Following her viral lamentation, Nigerian artist Iyanya and actor Pere Egbi have sent words of support to reality TV personality Mercy Eke.
The Big Brother Naija “Pepper Dem” winner said that she was abandoned by her pals during the All Stars season when she needed their support.
All she wanted, according to the 30-year-old, was to become more successful, which is why she returned to the popular show.
Mercy stated in an interview with media personality Hero Daniels on Hero’s Therapy that she received no support from her friends and that it was only her followers who rallied behind her.
In response to her statement, Iyanya stated that wanting more for oneself professionally is not a crime.
“Hey Mercy. Wanting more is not a crime, keep pushing, people don’t like themselves and they will never want to see another person doing well. Stay strong,” he said.
On his part, her colleague and love-interest, Pere said spoke words of positive affirmation to her and assured her of getting to greater heights.
Pere said; “Watching Mercy’s interview with Hero Daniels gave me chills. Seeing her break down like that… No my dear, there’s no crime in wanting more superstar! You rock, the sky is just the beginning for you.”
Mercy thanked Pere, writing “Thank you for always ❤️❤️🫶”
