Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, also known as Peruzzi, has finally spoken out on the viral tweet claiming Davido had cut him off owing to a suspected infidelity with his wife, Chioma.
A screenshot posted on X on Wednesday and shared by multiple individuals indicated that Peruzzi made an incriminating tweet against Davido and then hastily deleted it.
The alleged tweet from Peruzzi says:
“We used to be so close but because you hear say I dey pipe your wife you start to give me attitude. I don leave your circle sha. Ungrateful n*gga like say if no write your songs you for blow.”
The screenshot was shared by user @belikebaddy on X with the following caption:
“You no go fold keh,” implying that Peruzzi sent the tweet before deleting it.
Reposting the tweet, Peruzzi wrote:
“Your own go bad gaannnnn.”
The singer also implied in a subsequent tweet that the widely shared image had been altered.
“You sabi edit abi? You go edit for me wella. No worry,” he wrote.
Few months ago, Peruzzi opened up on why he had to secretly move out of Davido’s house after Chioma got pregnant.
According to Peruzzi, he was notified that Chioma would be moving into the house, and he felt it was only natural for him to acquire his own space.
Peruzzi, who was rumoured to be Ifeanyi’s father, stated that he began looking for a house without informing anybody, including his boss, Davido.
However, he noted that at some time, he had to notify Obama about his plan before later opening up to Davido after he had secured a place.
He said:
“When Chioma got pregnant I had to move out. When Ifeanyi was about to be born. When I was looking for the place, I didn’t tell Davido. But they called me and said Chioma is coming.”
