Rather than adding to the controversy, Obi’s comments highlighted what he sees as a serious national distraction.

Obi asked why the country focuses so much on a crossdresser’s life when there are many serious problems affecting the nation.

He joked that if the government made laws that favored women, those who criticize Bobrisky might be the first to start crossdressing just to get by, which made everyone in the studio laugh.
