Peterson Okopi, a well-known gospel singer from Nigeria, announced his engagement to Prudent Gabriel, a fashion designer.
On Monday, Okopi announced the news on his Instagram page, sharing a number of photos and videos that showed the proposal.
“Will you marry me?” was shown as the proposal’s backdrop, and Okopi was holding a ring and a bouquet to set the scene.
“In the beginning… Happy New Month, family. A new dawn🤍,” he wrote.
Fashion designer Gabriel shared photos from the memorable occasion on Instagram and stated, I said YES to the one that God purposed specially for me. I love you so much, babe.”
Okopi’s engagement follows other recent marriages and engagements among Nigerian gospel artists, including Moses Bliss and Theophilus Sunday.
