A photo of the late Access Holdings CEO, Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, and son Chizzy has surfaced online.
All three perished after their helicopter crashed in California, United States, on Friday night, February 9, while en route to Las Vegas to attend Super Bowl 58.
According to US officials, the helicopter crashed near Nipton, on the edge of the Mojave Desert, on Friday evening.

Yesterday, the news broke out that Herbert Wigwe, Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, and his wife, Chizoba, perished after their helicopter crashed in California on Friday night, February 9. According to accounts, the helicopter was on its way to Las Vegas when it crashed in Boulder City, located between Nevada and California, on Friday night.
According to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, the chopper took off from Palm Springs Airport at 8.45 p.m. and was en route to Las Vegas when it crashed at 10 p.m.
The bank executive, his wife and their son were said to be onboard the ill-fated chopper. Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the head of the Nigerian Export Group, is also claimed to have been aboard the helicopter.
