Photos Of Billionaire Kenyan Governor Painting The Town Gold, Drives Golden Cars, Drinks Golden Wine
Billionaire Kenyan Governor, Mike Sonko, is the proverbial gold man. He drives only gold cars, uses 24-Karat gold phones and only drinks golden wine.
According to report, Sonko rose to national political prominence when he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Makadara Constituency, Kenya at the age of 35.
His political image was bolstered by his trouncing of such some political heavyweights to clinch the seat. The September 20, 2010 by-election was occasioned by a successful petition by Reuben Ndolo.
After the inauguration of the new constitution of Kenya in 2010 and the creation of governments, Sonko announced his intention to run for Senator in Nairobi County.
He eventually became the First Senator of Nairobi. And after a grueling campaign, Sonko contested for the Gubernatorial seat for Nairobi County and defeated the incumbent Evans Kidero to become the second Governor of Nairobi. Since he’s winning election, it means his people love him.
