“Please I want you to consider me” – Man raises alarm as he ‘mistakenly’ send N500k into ‘Davido’s bank account, shares receipt

A Nigerian man named Ayomide accidentally transferred N500,000 into Afrobeat music sensation Davido’s Wema bank account.

The young man revealed on his X page that he wanted to send money to a friend but accidentally sent it to another bank account because the name on the account sounded similar to the one he had in mind.

He, on the other hand, begged members of the public to assist him in finding a way to get his money back.

He wrote, “Good day sir Mr David Adeleke @davido I want to bring your awareness about an issue pls”.

“I will want you to consider me I mistakenly sent #500,000 naira to you Wema Bank with this acct num0123044967 Which was supposed to be sent to a friend of mine which name is also David Adeleke”.
