Protesters in Katsina State are participating in the nationwide protest against hunger in the country.
The group, mainly made up of young individuals, were seen marching in the streets while holding Russian flags.
Daily Trust reported that on Monday morning, August 5, the protesters waved the flags and chanted in Hausa, “Hunger is killing us.”
Police officers have begun following them and using teargas to break up the protest.
