Authorities at the FCID in Alagbon, Lagos, are reported to have received a court order to keep the controversial figure, Bobrisky, in custody as investigations proceed.

Bobrisky was arrested on Monday by Nigeria Immigration Service agents at the Seme border in Badagry while trying to escape the country.

He was then handed over to FCID officers and is currently being held at their location.

A senior police official, who preferred not to be identified, revealed that they sought a court order for Bobrisky’s ongoing detention: “We have gone to court to get a detention order from a court to keep Bobrisky pending the outcome of investigation or further directive from higher authority.”

Following his arrest, Bobrisky was kept at the Seme Area Command until Tuesday, when he was escorted to Alagbon by armed personnel.

His arrival at FCID attracted attention, with several officers gathering to catch a glimpse of him before he was taken for a brief questioning at the Assistant Inspector General of Police’s office.

In other news, Afrobeats artist Ayra Starr has expressed her concerns regarding the impact of her demanding schedule on her appearance.

Although she was born in 2002, she conveyed a sense of feeling “old.”

She noted that she has encountered individuals born in the 1990s who appear more youthful and energetic than herself.

Starr shared her thoughts during an interview with Rode in Nairobi, Kenya.

“I have met people who were born in the 90s and they’re so vibrant and so young. I’m old and I was just born in 2002,” she lamented.

“I want to stay home, I want to sleep.”

On what inspires her creative process, the singer said, “I feel like the more I make music, the more I recognise what my path is and what I’m trying to do.”
