“Politicking is prohibited”- BBNaija reacts to Eloswag’s ‘Obedient-themed’ hoodie

The organisers of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show have revealed that politicking is prohibited during the show as well as political or religious discussions and expressions.

This comes in reaction to one of the show’s contestants, Eloswag’s ‘obedient-themed’ hoodie that stirred controversies on Thursday.

According to TheCableng, an insider within the reality show’s production team revealed to its reporters that Eloswag has been cautioned.

Eloswag, whose real name is Eloka Nwamu, stirred controversies after a photo of himself showing the backside of his hoodie with the ‘be obedient and useful’ inscription surfaced on Twitter.

The “Obedient Movement”, mostly identified with the Nigerian youths, is a trend towards the actualization of the presidency of Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour party.

“Politicking is prohibited. We encourage the housemates to avoid political or religious discussions and expressions, and the housemate in question has been cautioned,” a source cited by TheCableng reveals.
