Popular Nigerian Gay Man, Jide Macualay to Be Ordained an Anglican Priest

Popular Nigerian gay man, Jide Macualay, is set to be ordained an Anglican Priest in the Church of England in June this year.

Jide Macualay who left in Nigeria many years ago after his attempt to set up a gay-based Church, House of Rainbow, in the country failed.

The 53-year-old shared an invitation card to his ordination on his social media handle and wrote

”It is a delight to share this news, I am to be ordained Anglican Priest in the Church of England in June 2019.

“Wait on the Lord, be of Good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord” Psalm 27:14
