Popular Nigerian singer, Terry Apala and his friends were robbed on Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on Monday night, September 14th.
The singer who shared a video of his damaged car on his official Instagram page, revealed they were attacked by cutlass-wielding robbers while they were stuck in traffic last night.
He disclosed that the robbers carted away their phones and other valuable items.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “Omo! Yesternight Night was a bitter experience on the mainland, Got robbed with my guys in traffic. Thank God for life thou 💔🥺”.
Another post on his Instagram-stories however suggest that his friends were severely injured as he prayed that they survive the injury.

In other news, in 2018 Terry Apala rejected the claim that he uses drugs and substances to maintain his vocal ability.
According to him, it might be difficult to believe due to the way he sounds, but he doesn’t drink, smoke or take substances, even to perform at shows.
Speaking to our correspondent through his manager, Tobi Mohammed, Apala said,
“I do not drink or smoke whether to perform on stage or while I’m in a public gathering. People can testify to the fact that when I’m out or invited for shows, I prefer to take soft drinks. It is very difficult to believe and people find it shocking but I was brought up in a humble and disciplined background.
