Nigerian musician Portable, known for his outspoken nature, has once again stirred up controversy, this time targeting popular Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola. The issue arose from a viral video featuring Portable’s fourth baby mama, Ashabi Simple, and Odunlade at what appeared to be a movie set.

In the clip, Ashabi is seen hugging Odunlade, who jokingly asked her if she had informed her partner before approaching him. While the moment seemed lighthearted, it didn’t sit well with Portable. The singer, renowned for his no-nonsense attitude, wasted no time addressing the situation by sliding into Odunlade’s Instagram direct messages to express his dissatisfaction.

Portable, who has often been vocal about protecting his family, took issue with what he perceived as a disrespectful comment. He made it clear in his message to Odunlade that he would not tolerate any remarks or actions that could undermine his relationship or family’s reputation.

Portable wrote:

“Wetin you talk inside that video with Ashabi Simple? I respect my home, I no dey use am do movie. Why you go talk say she tell me before coming? Shay una no dey collect money for her hand ni? I respect, that’s why I come your DM. I no dey use my home play. Why you go talk like that? Na today I dey see una.”
