Portable has voiced his dissatisfaction on social media regarding the Ogun State Government’s plan to close his establishment, ODOWGU.
He posted a letter along with images of the bar on Instagram, indicating that the government cited reasons such as lack of proper development approval and inadequate airspace for the impending closure.
In his caption, Portable recounted that more than 20 people, including artists and patrons, were apprehended, with their vehicles, motorcycles, and phones confiscated.
Furthermore, he alleged that the government has also sealed his new, incomplete building and hotel.
Portable appealed to the government to reconsider their decision, highlighting that he uses the bar to host events, promote local talent, and support his family.
He also pointed out his contributions to the community, which include the installation of streetlights and the facilitation of road repairs.
The musician’s heartfelt plea has raised concerns among his fans and followers, who are urging the Ogun State Government to reevaluate the situation and seek a solution that benefits local businesses and the community.
He captioned: “I believe in Eledumare Nobody can fall me Ọmọ Olohun A
