Controversial singer Portable has criticized a Sony Music artist for giving him “bad advice” during their meeting in the US, shortly after his encounter with Davido.
As we may remember, the two Nigerian musicians met up in Atlanta, where they shared a meal together.
A video that surfaced online shows Portable expressing his frustration about the advice he received.
He mentioned that someone from Sony Music suggested that he join Empire music group, which he believes is a bigger opportunity.
However, Portable expressed his disappointment, questioning why he wasn’t advised to join Sony instead, as it would have given him more global recognition.
He emphasized that he desires a music connection that will propel him from zero to 100.
It is worth noting that Davido signed a deal with Sony Music in 2016 and recently renewed the agreement in 2023.
