Notable Nigerian musician Habeen Okikola, also known as Portable, has resorted to social media to react to the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife Queen Dami’s birthday wishes.
Recall that Portable, the “Zazoo Zeh” hitmaker, turns 30 today, March 12th 2024.
Portable, who recently produced a hit song titled Tony Montana with British rapper Skepta, inundated her verified Instagram page with new photos, captioned; “Happy birthday to me! On this special day. I celebrate the gift of life, the journey of growth, and the beauty of being uniquely me.
May this year be filled with love, laughter and the sweetest moments that life has to offer. ZAzuu God Sent Ogo Tun Tun.”
Remember that in June 2023, there was a lot of relationship gossip about Portable and Queen Dami. They exchanged passionate messages, referring each other as ‘king’ and ‘queen’ and using an abundance of loving emojis, which were prominently featured in Queen Dami’s Instagram comment section.
However, in an interview with Nedu WazobiaFM for the Honest Bunch Podcast, he clarified the situation.
When questioned about his relationship with the queen, the controversial musician admitted that he felt obligated to pursue a romantic relationship with her following the monarch’s death.
He said: “I am a real human being; she is my fan from day one. But I later hear you say King don die, after king na king. If to say king never die, you no see me with her. I no dey following person wife, that’s why dem no dey follow my wives.”
On Portable’s 30th birthday, Queen Dami wrote; “Happy birthday to my amazing Man, You bring so much love, laughter, and happiness into my life. Thank you for being my rock and best friend. Cheers to another year of adventures together.”
Portable responded affirmatively, referring to Queen Dami as his Queen and adding a love emoji.
