Bewaji, the first wife of the well-known singer Portable, has reached out to the Ogun state government regarding her husband’s legal issues.

GistLover had earlier reported that Portable’s assistants were taken into custody and faced charges in a magistrate court for supposedly attacking Ogun State town planning officials who were inspecting the singer’s properties.

In her message, Bewaji asked for divine help and urged those hurt by Portable’s behavior to forgive him.

This follows Portable’s own apology to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, where he also composed a song asking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intercede for him.

Portable asked for the release of his aides who are in jail, calling himself a “government liability.”
