President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the National Identity Management Commission’s (NIMC) Director-General/CEO, Engr. Aliyu Abubakar Aziz.
According to Gistlover, the retirement leave begins on August 24, 2023, and he will officially retire from his position on November 24, 2023.
Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced this in a statement on Tuesday.
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) was also given permission by the President to name Bisoye Coker-Odusote as its interim CEO and director general for a 90-day period.
NIMC Director-General/CEO Coker-Odusote will serve a full term of four years starting on November 24, 2023, following the effective date of her appointment on August 24, 2023.
Additionally, President Tinubu gave his approval for the appointment of Hon. The Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC) will have Yusuf Buba Yakub as its Director/CEO.
This comes after the tenure of the former DTAC Director/CEO, Dr. Pius Osunyikanmi, recently came to an end.
