Chidera Ikeoha, a young Nigerian boy, wrote a book during his time in Primary 6. He sold it by visiting different parks and has been awarded a lifetime scholarship.
This story gained attention in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing his dedication as he went to motor parks in Enugu to sell his book.
A picture of the book cover was posted online, attracting a lot of interest.
Soon after his story became popular, EduCare gave Chidera a lifetime scholarship.
They will not only fund his education but also publish his book on Amazon and offer him complete support.
The initial post introducing Chidera read: “Meet Nigeria’s youngest author, Chidera Ikeoha, who wrote a book in Primary 6 and went from park to park selling it in Enugu.”
A follow-up update later announced: “Update: Chidera Ikeoha has been awarded a lifetime scholarship by EduCare. His book will be listed on Amazon, and he’d be taken off the streets to focus on his education.”
