Primate Ayodele Warns Victor Osimhen Over Chelsea Move

Primate Ayodele, a well-known Nigerian prophet, has cautioned Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen against joining Chelsea while he seeks to leave Napoli. He shared this warning in a video posted on his official X account.

After helping Napoli win the Serie A title, many expected Osimhen to transfer in the summer of 2023. Instead, he renewed his contract with a better salary and a £113 million release clause, with a mutual understanding that he could depart in 2024.

This summer, moving away is tough due to his less impressive season and the high expenses related to the transfer, including fees and salaries.

“I want to quickly advise as directly that Osimhen should not go to Chelsea because if he goes there, he will not shine and it will kill his career,” he said.

“NFF, if Osimhen should go to Chelsea, don’t call him again, and also calling him to the Super Eagles still needs to be previewed properly because we have what it takes to the World Cup and Nations Cup.”*
