  • Primeboy, has filed a lawsuit against Mohbad’s mother, for alleged defamation.
    • He shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, February 19, along with a copy of the legal document submitted to the Lagos High Court, Ikeja Judicial Division.
    • He claims the lawsuit is based on a video interview Abosede did on March 28, 2024, in which she reportedly made damaging and false remarks about him.

Owodunni Ibrahim, known as Primeboy, has filed a lawsuit against Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, the mother of the late singer Mohbad, for alleged defamation.

He shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, February 19, along with a copy of the legal document submitted to the Lagos High Court, Ikeja Judicial Division.

He claims the lawsuit is based on a video interview Abosede did on March 28, 2024, in which she reportedly made damaging and false remarks about him. He believes these statements, which were reported by various news outlets, aimed to hurt his reputation.

In his legal filing, Primeboy is asking for ₦50 million in damages for what he refers to as “libelous, harmful, falsehood, and malicious statements” directed at him.

The lawsuit comes after Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, urged the Nigeria Police Force to question his younger son, Adura, and Mohbad’s partner, Omawunmi, for more information about the singer’s death. Aloba is worried about their lack of communication and believes outside forces may be stopping them from sharing what they know.

In other news, Former UNIZIK student Precious Mbakwe appears unbothered by the controversy surrounding her expulsion following a physical altercation with a lecturer. Instead, she has made a bold return to social media, capturing attention once again.

Mbakwe first made headlines after a viral video showed her assaulting a lecturer who interrupted her while she was recording a dance video. In response, the university swiftly took action, forming a disciplinary committee that ultimately led to her expulsion.

Rather than shying away from the spotlight, Mbakwe embraced it, making a grand reappearance on social media. In a recent clip posted to her Facebook account, she confidently sings along to YCee’s hit song Juice while striking elegant poses for the  camera.

Her comeback has sparked a wave of reactions online, with netizens divided over the unfolding drama. While some criticize her actions, others admire her fearless attitude despite the backlash.
