Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Not Invite Trump, Obama Or May To Their Wedding
According to the palace there will be no official UK or overseas guests at the wedding which will take place on May 19 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided not to invite any political leaders to their nuptials which means even British Prime Minister Theresa May and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will not attend the wedding.
The royal wedding guestlist has been the subject of intense speculation with many assuming the couple would invite Barack and Michelle Obama.
And it was widely believed the couple could Donald Trump, despite Meghan being an outspoken critic of the US President, due to diplomatic pressure.
Sources suggest as Prince Harry is not a direct heir to the throne there is no need for such formalities as inviting world leaders.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding is expected to be significantly smaller than Prince William and Kate’s which saw political leaders invited to Westminster Abbey among the 1,900 guests.
