“Prioritize having kids over marriage for career success” – Laide Bakare tells ladies

  • Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has urged career-oriented women to prioritize having children over marriage.
  • The actress shared her perspective on achieving long-term career success.
  • Bakare, in an interview with Nollywood On Radio, argued that marriage is not necessary for starting a family, citing her personal experience.

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has encouraged women focused on their careers to place greater importance on having children rather than on marriage.

In an interview with Nollywood On Radio, Bakare expressed her views on attaining sustained success in one’s career, asserting that marriage is not a prerequisite for starting a family, drawing from her own experiences.

“If you are aspiring to be a successful superstar as a young girl, I would advise you to get married and have kids early so that you can have the rest of your years to push your career because the family area is very important.

“I know getting married early may lead to divorce but I mean starting a family early. Maybe I should retract that because I do not mean marriage. I never thought of marriage when I had my first child, I just wanted a baby.

“So the advice is not to get married early but start having a family.”

GistLover notes that Laide, aged 43, was formerly married to Olumide Kunfulire, with whom she welcomed a daughter named Simi in 2008. In 2013, Bakare entered into her second marriage with Tunde Oriowo, a socialite from Lagos, and the couple had two sons together.

In other news, Justin Bieber has expressed his profound disapproval regarding the allegations made against his former mentor, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

According to a source familiar with Bieber, the new father has been advised to distance himself completely from any association with Diddy. However, this guidance aligns with Bieber’s own sentiments, as he reportedly desires to sever ties with the music mogul entirely.

Diddy is currently facing serious charges related to multiple counts of sex trafficking and racketeering, with over 120 victims having come forward.

A separate source indicated that Bieber is experiencing significant mental distress as he grapples with the implications of the allegations against Diddy. The longstanding relationship he had with Diddy has made it particularly challenging for him to process these developments.

Concerns have been raised regarding the decisions made by those in Bieber’s life that allowed Diddy to take on a mentorship role during his youth.

Sources close to the 30-year-old singer have exclusively informed the Daily Mail that he should never have been permitted to socialize with Diddy or others in similar circles during his teenage years. They assert that he was effectively abandoned by his mother, Pattie Mallette, and his largely absent father, Jeremy Bieber.
