Youths under the aegis of #RevolutionNow have blocked the Umaru Yar’Adua Way leading to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja the protesters made bonfires on the road leading to the airport leaving motorists stranded.
Most of the workers affected by the protest are people who live in Lugbe, Kuje, and other areas along the Airport road making their way to the city center to resume work after the weekend.
A further report had it that the protesters in the early hours of today could be heard chanting: “Se democracy be this, se democracy be this, people dey die like flies, se democracy be this (Is this a democracy? People are dying like flies, is this a democracy)?”
