The Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface flew his grandmother to Germany to watch him play for his new team, Bayer Leverkusen.

During the November international break, Victor Boniface was in Nigeria watching the Super Eagles play Lesotho and Zimbabwe in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament.

Despite his outstanding play this season at Bayer Leverkusen, he was unable to help the Super Eagles defeat the two bottom-seeded opponents as both contests finished in a 1-1 stalemate.

Victor Boniface decided to use the November international break to cheer up his grandmother, despite the fact that the majority of Super Eagles supporters are unhappy with the team as a whole.

Before Bayer Leverkusen’s matchup with Bayern Munich this weekend in the German Bundesliga, the 22-year-old football player Victor posted pictures of himself and his grandmother flying.

The striker traveled to Germany in the summer after departing Union SG in Belgium. In sixteen games in all competitions for the German squad, he has eleven goals and six assists.
