Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Mercy Atang has legally married the love of her life, David.
The duo, who were in Akwa Ibom for her wedding introduction, recently had their court wedding at the Federal Marriage Registry in Lagos.
In photographs posted on her husband’s Instagram story, the couple was seen holding their wedding certificate and posing for the camera.
Queen and her husband wore a black and white ensemble. Her spouse wore black trousers, a white shirt, and a white jacket, while Queen donned a black jumpsuit with a white jacket and a long white veil.
He officially declared their marriage in the captions to the images.
He wrote:
“Legally married.”
Hours before their court wedding, Queen made a pledge to her husband, David Oyekanmi, while sharing photographs of them twinning in white. The Queen donned a white dress, and her husband wore white and blue pants.
Queen captioned the images, saying that her husband is the person she wants to adore for the rest of her life.
She also released pre-wedding images shortly before their wedding introduction in Akwa-Ibom.
Queen announced her engagement on Instagram in February, posting a photo of herself flaunting her engagement ring while holding her fiance’s hands.
She went on to post further photographs and video from the engagement, showing the face of the man who captured her heart.
In a later Instagram post, the reality star said that her man proposed to her with a diamond ring since she means everything to him.
