Raheem Okoya Trends After Police Pro States No One Is Exempt From The Law

    • The officer was arrested afterward, but the Okoya family was not held accountable, leading to mixed reactions about the police’s response.

Billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya and his family became a topic of discussion after Nigerian Police Public Relations Officer Olumuiya Adejobi commented on the law.

GistLover reported that the Okoya sons were spotted at a party giving a police officer stacks of naira notes. The officer was arrested afterward, but the Okoya family was not held accountable, leading to mixed reactions about the police’s response.

A few weeks after the incident, Adejobi stated that everyone must follow the law. He warned that 2025 would be different and urged people to think carefully about their actions.

He also suggested that avoiding trouble should be a priority.

In response to Adejobi’s statement, many people brought up the Okoya’s sons. They argued that the law seems to apply only to the poor, while the wealthy often escape consequences.

A few individuals remembered different situations and called Adejobi a comedian. They noted that money helps many people avoid the consequences of their crimes.

It’s worth mentioning that after the Okoya sons were called by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, they were seen enjoying themselves at their father’s birthday party. There was no update on the case after that.

    Netizens Reactions:

@Tojuvike: “Police pro is gradually becoming a comedian.”

@SirEzzyUsoro: “The law dey fear who get money.”

@MrOzor1: “At least, politicians are untouchable. They pay well.”

@teejayviruz: “If you’re rich and influential, this message isn’t for you. The law can always be bent to favour the highest bidder and those with friends in power.”

@jejeoflagos: “Start with the corrupt politicians then maybe we will take y’all serious. Until then this is a joke.”

@ipob_central: “If the Law works in Nigeria, you should be behind bars by NOW for your bigotry against Ndigbo, which you have shown, in words and in actions. When are you going to arrest MC Olumu? What about Lagospedia? You can’t find them, right? Mad people everywhere.”

@HommiesDrey: “But the law respects Yahaya Bello and MC Oluomo. It also respects the Okoyas and the EFCC officer who absconded with $10k. So you are wrong. The law respects some people especially when they are your friends.”
